Fees for credit assistance:

Your Numbers' service is limited to matching your loan profile with three credit providers on Your Numbers' database that most closely fit your loan requirements.
Your Numbers will also provide a referral service whereby Your Numbers refers your loan application to a credit assistance provider (Mortgage or Finance Broker) who will further assist you with the proposed credit contract.

Inquiries, verification and preliminary assessments:

Prior to providing credit assistance Your Numbers will:

  • seek information about your requirements in relation to the proposed credit contract (or proposed credit limit increase) and your financial situation;
  • match your loan needs to three credit providers on Your Numbers' database that is most likely to provide you with a loan that will suit your loan requirements; and
  • refer your loan application to an independent Mortgage or Finance Broker who will make a preliminary assessment on whether the proposed credit contract (or proposed credit limit increase) is unsuitable for you.

A credit contract (or credit limit increase) will be assessed as unsuitable for you if:

  • it will not meet your requirements or objectives;
  • it is likely you will not be able to comply with the resulting financial obligations; or
  • it is likely you would only be able to comply with the resulting financial obligations with substantial hardship.

Your Numbers is prohibited by law from:

  • suggesting that you apply for a credit contract (or a credit limit increase); or
  • assisting you with an application for a credit contract (or a credit limit increase),

which is assessed to be unsuitable for you.
Your Numbers provides a service to help you stay informed about some of the current loan products that are available in the marketplace and that may suit your needs and requirements.
Your Numbers relies solely on the information that you provide to Your Numbers to deliver you this service. Your Numbers does not verify the information you provide regarding your financial situation because Your Numbers does not perform a preliminary assessment in relation to your credit contract (or credit limit increase).
Preliminary assessment of your credit contract (or credit limit increase) is performed by a Mortgage or Finance Broker that is not employed by Your Numbers nor is an agent of Your Numbers. Mortgage or Finance Brokers must provide you with copies of the preliminary assessment of your credit contract (or credit limit increase) within prescribed legislative obligations.
The Mortgage or Finance Broker must also provide you with a Credit Guide which sets out how they conduct credit activities in relation to your credit contract (or credit limit increase).

Credit providers:

Your Numbers typically maintains a register of approximately 20 credit providers in its database at any one time. There is no particular credit provider or a set number of credit providers in Your Numbers' database that Your Numbers conducts the most business with.
The credit providers in Your Numbers' database are matched to your loan application solely based on the information and loan requirements that you provide to Your Numbers.
Your Numbers does not receive commissions from the credit providers on its database for matching your loan application with any of these credit providers.
Your Numbers does not receive commissions from any credit provider who provides you with the credit contract (or credit limit increase) as a result of Your Numbers' service.
